ATM Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
ATM Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the PI3/PI4-kinase family. This protein is an important cell cycle checkpoint kinase that phosphorylates; thus, it functions as a regulator of a wide variety of downstream proteins, including tumor suppressor proteins p53 and BRCA1, checkpoint kinase CHK2, checkpoint proteins RAD17 and RAD9, and DNA repair protein NBS1. This protein and the closely related kinase ATR are thought to be master controllers of cell cycle checkpoint signaling pathways that are required for cell response to DNA damage and for genome stability. Mutations in this gene are associated with ataxia telangiectasia, an autosomal recessive disorder.
The ATM Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive immunological reagent designed for the detection and quantification of the ATM protein in various biological samples. This antibody is produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal region of the human ATM protein. The resulting polyclonal antibody exhibits high affinity and specificity towards the ATM protein, making it an ideal tool for various applications such as Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, and immunohistochemistry.
The ATM Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody is supplied as a purified IgG fraction, which has been affinity-purified from rabbit serum using protein A chromatography. This antibody is suitable for use in both research and diagnostic applications, and has been extensively validated for its performance and specificity. With its high sensitivity and specificity, the ATM Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody is an essential tool for researchers and clinicians studying the role of ATM in DNA damage response and repair, as well as in various human diseases such as cancer and neurodegenerative disorders.
