Human IGFBP7 ELISA Kit
Human IGFBP7 ELISA Kit
Application: For quantitative detection of IGFBP7 in human serum, plasma, body fluids, tissue lysates or cell culture supernatants.
Introduction: Insulin-like growth factor-binding protein 7 is a protein that in human s is encoded by the IGFBP7 gene. Lymphangiogenesis is not only involved in the processes of embryonic development, tissue repair and chronic inflammation, but also in tumor lymphatic metastasis. Metastatic tumor cells spreading through lymphatic vessels occur in non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC), with regional lymph node metastasis often being the most important prognostic factor for carcinoma patients. Insulin-like growth factor binding protein 7 (IGFBP7) was proven to be associated with metastatic clinicopathological features and high LVD. Furthermore, by assessing the capability of lymphatic endothelial cell forming lymphatic vessel-like structures in vitro, it appears to enhance lymphangiogenesis.
Principle of the Assay: This kit was based on sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. Anti-IGFBP7 polyclonal antibody was pre-coated onto 96-well plates. And the biotin conjugated anti-IGFBP7 polyclonal antibody was used as detection antibodies. The standards, test samples and biotin conjugated detection antibody were added to the wells subsequently, and wash with wash buffer. Avidin-Biotin-Peroxidase Complex was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with wash buffer. TMB substrates were used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the IGFBP7 amount of sample captured in plate. Read the O.D. absorbance at 450nm in a microplate reader, and then the concentration of IGFBP7 can be calculated.
Storage and Expiration: Store at 2-8℃ for 6 months, or at -20℃ for 12 months.
Range: 625 pg/ml - 40,000 pg/ml
Sensitivity: < 20 pg/ml
