CA IX Polyclonal Antibody
CA IX Polyclonal Antibody
Carbonic anhydrases (CAs) are a large family of zinc metalloenzymes that catalyze the reversible hydration of carbon dioxide. They participate in a variety of biological processes, including respiration, calcification, acid-base balance, bone resorption, and the formation of aqueous humor, cerebrospinal fluid, saliva, and gastric acid. They show extensive diversity in tissue distribution and in their subcellular localization. CA IX is a transmembrane protein and is one of only two tumor-associated carbonic anhydrase isoenzymes known. It is expressed in all clear-cell renal cell carcinoma, but is not detected in normal kidney or most other normal tissues. It may be involved in cell proliferation and transformation. This gene was mapped to 17q21.2 by fluorescence in situ hybridization, however, radiation hybrid mapping localized it to 9p13-p12.
The CA IX Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and reliable tool designed for the detection and quantification of Carbonic Anhydrase IX (CA IX) protein in various biological samples. This antibody is produced using a polyclonal approach, ensuring a diverse range of antibodies that target different epitopes of the CA IX protein, thus enhancing the accuracy and sensitivity of the assay.
The CA IX Polyclonal Antibody exhibits exceptional affinity and selectivity towards CA IX, making it an ideal choice for researchers and scientists involved in cancer research, particularly in the study of hypoxia-induced tumor progression. This antibody has been extensively validated and proven to deliver consistent and reproducible results across a wide range of experimental conditions.
With its superior performance, the CA IX Polyclonal Antibody offers numerous applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, and flow cytometry. Its versatility allows for the detection and analysis of CA IX protein expression in various sample types, such as cell lysates, tissue sections, and whole blood.
The CA IX Polyclonal Antibody is manufactured using state-of-the-art techniques and undergoes rigorous quality control measures to ensure batch-to-batch consistency and reliability. It is supplied as a ready-to-use solution, eliminating the need for time-consuming and error-prone antibody preparation.
In summary, the CA IX Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific, reliable, and versatile tool that enables accurate detection and quantification of CA IX protein. Its exceptional performance and broad range of applications make it an indispensable asset for researchers and scientists engaged in cancer research and related fields.
