The protein encoded by this intronless gene THBD (thrombomodulin) is an endothelial-specific type I membrane receptor that binds thrombin. This binding results in the activation of protein C, which degrades clotting factors Va and VIIIa and reduces the amount of thrombin generated. Mutations in THBD are a cause of thromboembolic disease, also known as inherited thrombophilia.

The CD141 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive immunological reagent designed for the detection and quantification of CD141 protein expression in various biological samples. This antibody is produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal region of human CD141 protein. The resulting polyclonal antibody exhibits high affinity and specificity towards CD141 protein, making it an ideal tool for various research applications.

The CD141 Polyclonal Antibody is suitable for use in a variety of immunological techniques, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry. It has been validated for use in human samples and has been shown to detect CD141 protein expression in a variety of tissues, including lymphoid organs, skin, and lung.

This antibody is supplied as a liquid formulation in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) with 0.02% sodium azide as a preservative. It is available in various sizes to meet the needs of different research applications. The CD141 Polyclonal Antibody is a reliable and effective tool for the detection and quantification of CD141 protein expression in various biological samples, making it an essential reagent for researchers in the fields of immunology, oncology, and infectious diseases.
