GPR41 Polyclonal Antibody
GPR41 Polyclonal Antibody
Receptor for short chain fatty acids. The activity of this receptor is coupled to the formation of inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate, intracellular Ca2+ mobilization, the activation of ERK 1/2 and inhibition of intracellular cAMP accumulation. Coupled exclusively to the pertussis toxin-sensitive G(i/o)-alpha protein. The rank order of potency for agonists of this receptor is propionate = pentanoate = butyrate > acetate > formate.
The GPR41 Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive tool designed for the detection and analysis of GPR41 protein expression in various biological samples. This antibody is produced using advanced immunization techniques, ensuring high affinity and specificity towards GPR41.
GPR41, also known as free fatty acid receptor 3 (FFAR3), is a G protein-coupled receptor that plays a crucial role in the regulation of energy homeostasis and metabolism. It is predominantly expressed in adipose tissue, colon, and immune cells. The GPR41 Polyclonal Antibody recognizes the extracellular domain of GPR41, enabling the detection of both the full-length and cleaved forms of the protein.
This antibody has been extensively validated for various applications, including Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence. It exhibits minimal cross-reactivity with other related receptors, ensuring accurate and reliable results. The GPR41 Polyclonal Antibody is suitable for use in both research and clinical settings, providing valuable insights into the functional role of GPR41 in various physiological and pathological processes.
With its high sensitivity and specificity, the GPR41 Polyclonal Antibody offers researchers a powerful tool for investigating the expression and localization of GPR41 in different tissues and cell types. Its superior performance and versatility make it an essential component of any study aiming to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying GPR41-mediated signaling pathways.
