PBFE Polyclonal Antibody
PBFE Polyclonal Antibody
Enoyl-CoA hydratase and 3-hydroxyacyl CoA dehydrogenase by EHHADH is a bifunctional enzyme and is one of the four enzymes of the peroxisomal beta-oxidation pathway. The N-terminal region of the encoded protein contains enoyl-CoA hydratase activity while the C-terminal region contains 3-hydroxyacyl-CoA dehydrogenase activity. Defects in EHHADH are a cause of peroxisomal disorders such as Zellweger syndrome. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for EHHADH.
The PBFE Polyclonal Antibody is a highly specific and sensitive immunological reagent designed for the detection and quantification of PBFE protein in various biological samples. This antibody is produced by immunizing rabbits with a synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal region of the PBFE protein. The resulting polyclonal antibody exhibits high affinity and specificity towards the PBFE protein, making it an ideal tool for various applications in research and diagnostics.
The PBFE Polyclonal Antibody is purified using a combination of protein A and protein G chromatography, ensuring high purity and minimal cross-reactivity with other proteins. This antibody is suitable for use in various immunoassays, including Western blotting, ELISA, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry. It has been validated for use in human, mouse, and rat samples, and has been shown to detect PBFE protein with high sensitivity and specificity.
The PBFE Polyclonal Antibody is supplied as a liquid formulation in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) with 0.02% sodium azide as a preservative. It is available in various sizes to meet the needs of different applications. This antibody is manufactured under strict quality control standards to ensure consistent performance and reproducibility. It is an essential tool for researchers and clinicians working in the fields of immunology, cell biology, and molecular biology.
