Primary Antibody Diluent

This product can be used as a diluent to prepare primary antibodies and negative controls. It can be used with any primary antibody irrespective of its source of origin. Primary antibody diluent is specifically designed to stabilize primary antibodies and reduce nonspecific background staining observed during immunostaining.

\nIn order to obtain optimal staining, correct dilution as well as selection of appropriate diluent is critical. Ionic strength, pH of the environment and the presence or absence of detergents can affect the binding as well as the stability of the primary antibody. The optimal pH together with stabilizing proteins in Primary Antibody Diluent ensures the maximum stability of primary antibodies. Our Primary Antibody Diluent contains optimal concentrations of sodium chloride and detergents to prevent nonspecific binding and enable better penetration of primary antibodies. Primary Antibody Diluent is specifically designed for diluting primary antibodies for immunohistochemistry. Both, monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies can be diluted in this buffer.
